Barbarian’s Adventure in a Fantasy World

Every night, Ketal prayed to wake up in a world of magic and adventure. One day, his wish came true—but not as he had imagined. He opened his eyes in a vast, snow-covered wilderness, reborn as a barbarian belonging to a race feared for its immense strength and savagery.

Yet beneath his intimidating appearance was someone eager to understand the fantasy realm he had always dreamed of. Rather than live as a mindless brute, Ketal studied the human language, learned local customs and earned a mercenary license, hoping to find his place among the people of this unfamiliar world.

Fitting in proved harder than he expected. His fearsome presence and overwhelming power turned ordinary encounters into misunderstandings. Where Ketal approached others with curiosity, they often saw danger.

Barbarian’s Adventure in a Fantasy World, also known as Surviving as a Barbarian in a Fantasy World and 판타지 세계 속 바바리안으로 살아가기, follows his journey through a realm that inspires him even as its people struggle to accept him. This action fantasy manhwa brings together adventure, humor and the challenges of a man whose gentle intentions rarely match the impression he makes.
